Dr. Tyler J. Myers earned his PhD in Chemistry from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2021, specializing in materials and nanoscience with an emphasis on atomic layer deposition (ALD) for semiconductor, pharmaceutical, and optics applications. During his doctoral work, he paired scientific research with commercialization efforts, advancing early-stage IP in positions at CU Innovations and Intellectual Ventures. Dr. Myers has since held key technical sales and marketing roles at leading ALD equipment companies, driving the adoption of ALD in emerging More-than-Moore markets. He is widely recognized within the ALD community as the former producer of the ALD Stories podcast, launched during his tenure at Beneq Oy. He now serves as Senior Technical Sales Engineer at Forge Nano, where he helped lead the 2024 debut of the Tephra™ ALD cluster platform. In this role, Dr. Myers provides expert consultation on ALD across the compound semiconductor landscape, including photonics, power electronics, MEMS, and advanced packaging, bridging cutting-edge ALD innovation with real-world manufacturing needs.
